I used to lead tours for a living, but I've never been one to really enjoy visiting a foreign country entirely through a bus windshield. An excellent book covering the types of plants that you are likely to find growing in your garden, not so much the native ones that you will find in the bush. They contain excellent images, and detailed information. For Euarasian landbirds, the choice is tougher. It is acid free with 65 lb. paper and cost around $8.00.
